AFTER SCHOOL EDUCATION PROGRAM

The After School Education Program (ASEP), which serves students in grades K-12, provides homework assistance in addition to tutoring, one-on-one mentoring, instruction in health, goal setting, character skills, communication skills, anti-bullying, and cultural/recreational activities in a safe and nurturing environment. Through a partnership with the School District of Indian River County, students are brought to GYAC directly from their school and after a light snack and a short recreational time, transition into their classroom.
